Taking the time to listen and to communicate clearly is important as words are often more impactful than we may anticipate. Our ability to work productively together is in part due to our sustained commitment to appreciating each other's intellectual creativity and human values as the 'sum of our parts' is greater than we are as individuals. ‘Creating the space’ for staff to explore, in creative, adaptive and sensitive ways, to facilitate a response to organisational challenges is a role Sally relishes, and was the focus of her master's dissertation. Within any workplace, we can encounter tasks that seem daunting. Making time to support (or to be supported by) another staff member enables the 'hump' of the task to be overcome. This collaborative approach is productive in addressing work tasks.
Sally is available for public speaking engagements, particularly focussed on the experience of hybrid teams.
