Experience, background and philosophy

Margery is a lawyer and senior financial services leader with more than 25 years’ experience across dispute resolution, public policy, risk, compliance and governance. She draws on her legal expertise, deep regulatory knowledge and hands-on delivery experience to design and implement practical solutions to complex regulatory and compliance challenges.

Margery is drawn to systems psychodynamics because it offers a fuller picture of organisational life. In her experience, formal systems, strategy and processes tell only part of the story; workplace challenges are also shaped by underlying forces influencing how people think, relate and make decisions. Margery believes that good governance and lasting change are built on connection and trust, clarity about the shared task, and a willingness to uncover the cultural and behavioural dynamics that may be getting in the way.
