PhD Supervisor
Dr Lita Crociani-Windland specialises in Group Relations and organisational dynamics, drawing from Psycho-Social Studies, psychoanalytic theories and psychosocial methodologies, theories of affect, and continental philosophy. Her work also encompasses the Sociology of Disability and Social Pedagogy.
She is particularly interested in transdisciplinary approaches, having previously applied these to festivals and ritual studies, and currently exploring architecture and post-humanist approaches. This fundamentally psychosocial approach is informed by systems theory, psychoanalysis, and continental philosophy to explore human and non-human interactions and the reciprocal influences between buildings and their users, including organisational aspects.
Through her unique lens, Dr Crociani-Windland examines how physical spaces shape social dynamics and vice versa, bringing together diverse theoretical frameworks to understand the complex interplay between people, places, and organisational life.
