Experience, background and philosophy
Jenny Smith is an experienced corporate executive in the Australian Energy market with a background in Sustainability, Safety, People and Culture. Jenny is nearing completion of her PhD, which she is undertaking at the University of Melbourne’s School of Philosophy, in which she is researching the ethical underpinnings of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in corporate Australia.
In the academic field, Jenny has published several papers on organisational dynamics and has a particular interest in corporate sustainability and DEI.
Jenny thrives when working to improve organisations as systems - to make them better at achieving their goals, better places to work and better contributors to the world.
